Wausau Paper Announces East Coast Printing & Writing Distribution Center to Begin Operations Next Month
MOSINEE, Wis., Feb 26, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Wausau Paper (NYSE:WPP) announces the opening of an East Coast Printing & Writing distribution center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, which was selected for its proximity to key commercial printing markets and the company’s network of merchant distribution partners. Transitional operations begin on March 3 and once fully operational the company’s Overnight and Same-Day delivery service will be available to a growing number of Wausau Paper’s East Coast customers.
“Establishing this distribution center, which will house our entire portfolio of stock brands and grades, emphasizes our commitment to the commercial printing industry, our merchant distribution partners, and retail customers located in the eastern third of the United States. This facility will also allow us to further enhance the high level of service we currently provide East Coast customers through our ‘Think Service’ program,” said Daniel R.
